World Health Organization recommends that you should do at least 10,000 steps a day to maintain physical strength and correct body weight. We can assume that it is a distance of approximately 6.5 km. It is good to be aware that everyday physical activity of an average person is approx. 3000-4000 steps a day. This has a lot to do with our work and mobile lifestyle. Maybe it is time to incorporate longer, faster walks to your daily schedule as they have great influence on our health. Counting steps can also be motivating to increase your physical activity. Remember to set your goals according to the SMART rule. This will allow us to enjoy our progress and adopt positive attitude.
